Plenty has changed in the world in the last decade.
Global warming is a serious concern today. The polar ice caps are melting at a rapid rate. The sea levels are raising a few centimeters every year.
The weather patterns have shifted, and there has been an average increase in summer temperatures. The monsoons in India fail more often and more living species are becoming extinct by the day.
And then we have South Africa, choking like they always do in the knockout stages of a world tournament, to assure us that all is in order in this world. This is one phenomenon we can quote that has not changed much in the last decade.
